Thora Valley Farm
a biodynamic farm on the mid north coast of NSW.
We are a family of makers & growers.
At Thora Valley Farm we grow & sell organic food, produce our own wool label, source ethically produced fabrics for sale & offer weekly fibre classes. Our farm is proudly certified organic & bio-dynamic.
Our Farm Shop.
We sell a range of products here online ~ fresh bio-dynamic produce, our naturally dyed yarn label Josephās Coat & a selection of high quality fabrics from our fabric shop Bloom.
Our passion & primary focus on the farm is to produce nutrient dense food that tastes delicious! We produce food that is of high standard both in taste & nutritional value, we are both a certified organic farm & certified Biodynamic farmā¦
Our yarn label, Josephās Coat, was born of Kerrieās love for wool & passion for plant dyeing. Our flock of sheep who live in regional Victoria, are super fine Merino, unwanted commercially because of the colour in their fleece, but seen as a joyous bonus in our eyesā¦
We source the highest quality natural fabrics from ethical businesses around the globe and bundle them up to share! Purchase your fabric from Bloom fabrics knowing that you are purchasing ethically produced metres of fabric...

Oh so Soft, lofty & real, best describes our yarn. Fleece is from our small flock of ultra fine (14micron) pure breed Merino Sheep.

In keeping with the ever present need for sustainable living, our fleece is only minimally processed so you may find little bits of vegetable matter (VM), it has not being carbonised nor super washed (which has not been approved of in Australia)
Semi worsted mill spun in Victoria. A wholly Australian product

The beauty of our yarn is the subtle variation of colour, this brings life to the finished garment. As such knit with two balls of yarn, alternating rows.
